V-max

I bought a Vmax Tin Set on ebay from seller firstclass1122 - as follows:

It was clearly stated that the items were perfect without scratches and dents and that it fits Vmax 1985-2007:

In total 7 pictures were displayed - unfortunately none of the pictures showed the condition underneath...

After purchase the items were shipped to my brother in Columbus OHIO and he brought them to me when he visited Sweden in May.

When I started mount the items on my V-max from 1986 I noticed the the rear fender didn't have the mountings underneath - it looked like as if the fender once had been ripped off:

This is the way my original fender look like underneath:

Looking closer to the purchased item it is obvious that this damage can't be caused be the shipping or by a faulty mounting...

This is the way it should look like:

The seller is uninterested to find a solution - his comments as follows:

"the attachment are shown, the mounts are clearly shown. the fender mounts by the bolt holes in the fender. i know how the vmax fender mount because i own a vmax and have swapped fender on it many times. i am not hiding anything , you have waited 7 weeks to complain about this purchase. if there was any damage , it must have been caused by faulty installation."

I've tried to get in contact with seller so that he can give me an email address so that I can send him pictures showing the damage item he sold. The seller has refused...

And this is where we are - my V-max still with original fenders and "tank cover"...

At least I think the seller firstclass1122 should pay for the work to mold new attachements to the rear fender - he can't be proud of himself selling a damage item stated as "perfect" - or maybe this is a typical American from New York? Feeling satisfaction to cheat honest people...
